These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of mobile applications and related services (the “Apps”) provided by Akrivos (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using any of our Apps, you agree to these Terms.

1. Educational Purpose Only

Our Apps are educational and training tools. They are designed to help users learn and practice skills in simulated environments. They do not facilitate, encourage, or enable real-money transactions, gambling, or any illegal activity.

2. No Guarantee of Results

Using our Apps does not guarantee any particular outcome, skill level, or real-world result. The information, strategies, and training provided are for educational purposes only. We make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or applicability of any content.

3. Accuracy of Information

While we strive for accuracy, our Apps may contain errors in content, strategy information, or calculations. We do not guarantee that all information is correct, complete, or current. Do not rely solely on our Apps when making real-world decisions based on the skills they teach.

4. Assumption of Risk

Any decision to apply skills learned in our Apps to real-world situations is made entirely at your own risk. We are not liable for any losses, damages, or consequences resulting from your use of information or skills obtained through our Apps.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, graphics, and other materials in our Apps are the property of Akrivos and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Apps without our prior written consent.

6. In-App Purchases

Some features may require in-app purchases. All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We reserve the right to modify pricing and available features at any time.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our Apps
  • Use our Apps for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users’ data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our Apps or related services
  • Use automated tools to access or interact with our Apps (except as explicitly permitted)

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our Apps at any time, for any reason, without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Apps ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AKRIVOS AND ITS DEVELOPERS, OFFICERS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OUR APPS.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OUR APPS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Akrivos and its developers, officers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from your use of our Apps or violation of these Terms.

11. Disclaimers

OUR APPS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Age Requirements

Our Apps are intended for users aged 18 and older unless otherwise stated within a specific App. By using our Apps, you represent that you meet the minimum age requirement.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in the State of Washington.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL (https://akrivos.org/legal) with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of our Apps after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
